Peak Shaving Service

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana informs that, as a deviation from the provision of art. 2 of the Tender Procedure related to the Peak Shaving Service 2018/2019 updated on October 16th, 2018, OLT will purchase at the time of the DISCHARGE a quantity equal to 70,000 MWh (equivalent to approximately 10,000 cubic metres of LNG), instead of the quantity equal to 135,000 MWh previously reported in the Procedure.
It is also clarified that the quantities intended for the Peak Shaving Service remain unchanged.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana publishes here below the Tender Procedure related to the Peak Shaving Service 2018/2019 and the Annexes thereto updated following the clarifications of October 12th, 2018.
OLT also clarifies that, notwithstanding what previously stated, the Supplier of the Peak Shaving Service may identify the date of DISCHARGE within and not later than hr. 18:00 CET, October 24th, 2018.
Lastly it is clarified that, as a consequence of the unavailability of regasifiaction capacity in the Month of November 2018, the DISCHARGE of LNG for the Peak Shaving Service shall occur between 1st and 31st December, 2018, as currently stated in the updated version of the Tender Procedure for the Peak Shaving Service 2018/2019.
Please be informed that the company being awarded the Peak Shaving Service shall not provide the guarantee as per Attachment 7A1 or 7A2 of the Regasification Code. On the contrary, such guarantee shall be provided, together with the Capacity Contract, in the guarantee form hereto made available.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana informs that, notwithstanding what already provided by paragraph 4.5 of Annex 1A to the Peak Shaving Procedure 2018/2019, the purchase option that OLT may exercise by March 31st 2019 will be priced at the System Average Price, as defined by paragraph 1.2, letter m) of TIB, referring to the Month of April 2019.
Due to such amendment, the conclusion of the Peak Shaving Procedure will be postponed to hr. 10:30 CET, October 23rd, 2018.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana informs that, due to the fact that the slots of November 2018 have all been allocated with the spot auction of October 12th, the slots available for the Peak Shaving Procedure are only the ones of December 2018.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana informs that, since the spot auction of October 16th, 2018 and the awarding of the Peak Shaving Service are scheduled on the same Day, the spot auction of October 16th, 2018 is hereby rescheduled on October 12th 2018. OLT Offshore LNG Toscana will publish the available capacity for the spot allocation by October 9th , 2018; every Applicant satisfying the Service Conditions shall sign a Capacity Agreement as per Clause 2.1.10 of the Regasification Code and provide adequate financial guarantees as per Clause 3.1.1.2 of the Regasification Code, as well as be enabled to operate through the PAR Platform by hr. 12:00 CET, October 10th, 2018.
OLT also clarifies that the Supplier of the Peak Shaving Service may choose the date of DISCHARGE within and not later than hr. 18:00 CET of October 17th , 2018 and that the guarantees provided as per art. 4.4. and art. 8 of the Procedure may be presented through a first-demand guarantee issued by an Approved Credit Institute according to Annex 2 and Annex 4 of the Procedure, or in the form of non-interest bearing cash deposit, remaining unchanged the relevant deadlines to present the same.

Tender Procedure for the identification of third parties available to provide LNG for the Peak Shaving Service during the winter period of the Gas Year 2018/2019
OLT Offshore LNG Toscana S.p.A. provides to the Responsible of the Italian Gas Balancing System a temporary storage for the purposes of the Peak Shaving Service through the supply of an LNG cargo delivering a quantity of LNG approximately between 65,000 cubic meters and 109,000 cubic meters according to the terms of the Service Contract and through a tender to be completed in accordance with the provisions of the tender Procedure here below attached.
Should the LNG quantity discharged be greater than the one provided by the Peak Shaving Service, net of quantities purchased by OLT, OLT Offshore LNG Toscana S.p.A. clarifies that the extra quantity will be regasified in accordance with the rules set forth in the Regasification Code, as determined by the Capacity Agreement laid down in Annex 1C attached to the tender Procedure.
The User who will be awarded the tender for the Peak Shaving Service will be able to choose, within hr. 12:00 CET of October 23rd, 2018, its Delivery Slot among the ones still available in the period between November 1st, 2018 and December 31st, 2018. In case the User has not express its choice, OLT will assign to such User the first Available Delivery Slot in the Month of December, or, in case no Slots are still available in the Month of December, the last Available Delivery Slot in the Month of November.
