Safety of unloading operations

The mooring operations between the LNG carrier and the Floating Storage Regasification Unit are made in compliance with the Italian law of reference (ref. DM 02/08/2007 “Provisional rules for maritime transport of dangerous goods in bulk in a gaseous state, Standards and administrative procedures for the release of boarding and landing clearance of those goods”) and with specific requirements issued by the Authorities. Only a highly qualified personnel can be employed in side by side, cargo, mooring and unmooring operations which have been the subject of in-depth studies.
